Beverly Millican-Hicks has been in counseling practice for over 25 years, focusing on adults and adolescents, families, couples and addiction. She is a native Texan who graduated from the University of North Texas and completed her Masters of Education in Counseling at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
In Texas and North Carolina, she developed, implemented and coordinated intensive intervention programs for “at risk” and substance abusing students and families. She provided Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services for corporations and law enforcement agencies in addition to having a private counseling practice. Beverly is a national trainer for Family Intervention and Support Group Facilitators. She has been in private counseling practice in North Carolina since 1993.
